Dr. Jie Shen is a master acupuncturist from China. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in NY, NJ and PA, the former acupuncture service provider in Horizon Family Medical Group (2002-2005). Due to her significant contributions to the local community in Orange County NY,  she has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazine articles. She has a strong background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture. She graduated from Tianjin Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine with an five-year full time combination medical program including Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and modern Western medicine. After graduation, she served First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a M.D. doctor for six years. It is noteworthy to be mentioned that during her study and work in China, she also took part in several research projects in treating various diseases and disorders. Her tenacity and steadiness in these research works brought her plentiful and substantial research achievements and scientific publications.
